MiPower Electric Bus is setting up a series of service points in strategic locations across the nation and will be staffed and equipped for excellence.

All Mipower Electric vehicles require regular servicing as prescribed by the OEM to keep your bus in optimum working order. At MiPower Electric Bus, we do everything we can to ensure that servicing your vehicle isn’t a hassle. Whether your bus needs a routine service or emergency attention, our service team is always happy to help.

MiPower Electric Bus’s highly trained mechanics have extensive knowledge on all models and have access to specialist servicing tools to ensure that maintenance work meet the expected workmanship.

We also employ service experts that will provide you with correct, comprehensive and prompt service regarding the ordering of your spare parts. The quality, fit and performance of our genuine parts return your vehicle to its original factory specification.

Thanks to a sophisticated distribution system and bar-coding technology at our central warehouse that gives us the ability to source any part quickly and easily. And if you get your parts fitted by an authorised MiPower Electric Bus dealer, you’re fully covered for parts and labour for three years, regardless of how far you travel.

When you buy OEM genuine parts and have them fitted by MiPower Electric Bus or any of our dealers you receive a three-year unlimited kilometre parts warranty. This applies to both the parts and labour, which makes brilliant business.

You are still covered by a one year or 100,000-kilometre warrant, whichever comes first, on the OEM genuine part or accessory fitted by someone other than an authorised MiPower Electric Bus dealer.

Servicing and maintenance preventive maintenance ensures uptime of vehicle and protect your operation against unplanned repair costs and standstills. The service contract allows you to budget for one regular monthly fee vehicle maintenance over the life of your agreement.

At MiPower we are mindful that each business operates differently from the next therefore we’ve tailored our servicing contracts for MiPower Electric Bus new energy buses to three unique products namely Basic, Standard and Premium.

 1. Basic Level

Includes preventive maintenance prescribed for your MiPower Electric bus in accordance with the product manufacturer maintenance plan.

2. Standard

It includes any necessary repairs of the bus, labour and parts in addition to the basic level maintenance.

3. Premium

It includes all necessary repairs to the bus above the basic and standard level services.

Roadside Assistance allows MiPower and our dealership network to provide owners and drivers with emergency roadside repairs and assistance, of a warrantable nature for the warranty period. It complementary with every new MiPower Electric Bus vehicle purchase and the cover is for the first 3 years of your vehicle’s life, free of charge. Roadside Assist is available 24/7/365 and the cover can be extended by a further one or two years once initial Roadside Assist cover expires.

Mechanical Breakdown

With just a call your, we arrange for our emergency service to get your vehicle back on the road in no time.

Towing

Your closest authorised dealer will arrange for your vehicle to be towed to the nearest repair centre, provided that the vehicle is eligible for towing.

Tyre and Wheel Change

MiPower Electric Bus and our dealership network will change your tyre or wheel on site and if the spare wheel is not suitable, the vehicle will be towed to the nearest repair centre. Any costs above covered entitlements will be charged.

Flat Battery

We will boost you to get you up and running. However, if the battery is faulty but still under warranty, we will arrange for a replacement to be delivered and installed. New replacement batteries supplied and installed for faulty batteries beyond their warranty period must be paid for at the time of service.

Emergency Freight

If a part is not readily available to repair your vehicle, MiPower will obtain it from the closest available source, and it will be dispatched via the fastest practical transport to get your vehicle back on the road at the earliest opportunity.

All MiPower Electric Bus vehicles come with a 150,000km warranty or 3 years and the warranty is subject to the vehicle being operated according to the manufacturer’s specifications. No matter which service contract you choose you can be assured of efficient and consistent servicing.

Extended Warranty

extended warranties are also available on new vehicles for an additional 5 years and a warranty is also fully transferable to a new owner, adding value to its resale.

In order to provide better service and understanding on MiPower EV products, MiPower Electric Bus regularly organizes on-site training sessions for MiPower Electric Bus dealer network of distributors and final customers. The training covers all relevant aspects such as bus operations, maintenance and fault diagnosis.

Upon request, we train drivers on the effects their driving behaviour can have on passenger experience, safety, reducing wear and tear of the unit and its components, lower fuel consumption and other aspects of successful, thereby helping you to improve your business profitability.

We can specifically tailor your service technician training to suit your business needs and purchase requirements. Our training covers MiPower Electric Bus body parts, Electronic Control System, Battery System, Motor System, Charging Equipment and much more, and is conducted by highly qualified MiPower Electric Bus technical staff.
